The Logs are built in sections with baffle walls between the sections. If a puncture hole takes on water, the damaged portion will not affect the other sections allowing you to continue on your trip. No fear of sinking.

The taller bulkheads are filled with

solid foam and sandwiched between outer and inner sheets of aluminum. Resists ugly denting and crumpling when boat is subjected to stress.

The shorter fence barriers are made of Lexan

to allow for curving per drawing. The top edge runs have a curved PVC 1/4 round to give a smooth professional finished appearance.

The deck Under belly is covered with aluminum sheathing. The top side is marine carpet glued and fastened in position over 3/4" marine plywood (non-skid) on all O'Brien Pontoons. Also each plyed layer that makes up a marine grade plywood sheet is screwed to aluminum stud base 10 yearwarranty on all decks.
